Program Name and Purpose

Alliant Care Transport LLC ("Alliant Care Transport," "we," or "us") operates a text messaging service called Alliant Care Transport – Transactional Scheduling & Dispatch Notifications. This SMS program is strictly transactional, used solely for our non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) operations. Enrolled individuals will receive text messages related to:

  • Appointment and pickup confirmations
  • Scheduling updates or changes
  • Driver en route and arrival notifications
  • Coordination details for a scheduled trip

No marketing or promotional content will be sent via this SMS program. Messages are intended to facilitate and coordinate your existing transportation requests only.

Opt-In and Consent

By providing your mobile phone number and requesting transportation with Alliant Care Transport, you give us permission to send you transactional SMS notifications related to your trip. In many cases, verbal consent is obtained during scheduling calls with our staff or when transportation is arranged by a healthcare facility on your behalf. This consent is specific to the transportation service you requested – we will not send texts unrelated to your active trip or booking.

If someone else (such as a medical office or care provider) schedules a ride for you, they must confirm that they have your authorization to opt you into these notifications. Consent to receive our SMS alerts is not required as a condition to receive service; however, without consent, you may not receive important updates about your transportation.

Verbal Consent Process

When scheduling a ride over the phone, our agents will ask for your consent to receive SMS notifications. The script used is: "Do we have your permission to send you text messages regarding your ride status and scheduling updates? Standard message and data rates may apply."You must answer "Yes" to be enrolled.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your transportation needs and scheduling activity. You will only receive messages when necessary for coordination of rides – for example, confirming a booking, notifying you of driver arrival, or alerting you to schedule changes. There is no fixed number of messages per week or month; communication will be triggered by your trip activity.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply to messages sent or received. All SMS communications are sent through your mobile carrier, and any fees or charges from your phone service provider are your responsibility. Check with your carrier for details on your text messaging plan. Alliant Care Transport does not charge you any additional fees for texting.

Opt-Out and Help

You can stop receiving SMS notifications at any time. To opt out, simply reply STOP to any Alliant Care Transport text message. After you send "STOP," we will send a confirmation text to let you know you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive text messages from us unless you request a new ride and provide consent again.

For help or customer support with our SMS service, reply HELP to any message. This will prompt an assistance message. You can also contact our team directly for help or via email at [email protected]. We are happy to assist with any questions or issues.

Note: If you opt out, you may miss important updates about your scheduled transportation. If you wish to resume messages after opting out, please contact us to re-consent.

Supported Carriers and Delivery

Our text messages are supported by most major U.S. mobile carriers and are intended for U.S. recipients. However, delivery of SMS messages may occasionally be delayed or unsuccessful due to carrier or network issues beyond our control. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We cannot guarantee that a text message will be delivered or received within any specific time frame.

Eligibility and Intended Users

This SMS notification service is intended for individuals in the United States who have scheduled non-emergency medical transportation with Alliant Care Transport. If you are under 18 years old or under guardianship, you should only use this service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian (or an authorized healthcare representative). By consenting to our SMS updates, you confirm that you are the owner of the mobile phone number provided (or have permission from the owner).

Appropriate Use and No Emergency Communications

Our SMS service must be used only for its intended purpose of coordinating NEMT rides. Do not use these text messages to send us any abusive, offensive, or irrelevant content. In particular, please do not include sensitive personal or medical details (Protected Health Information) in any reply texts. We do not solicit confidential health information via SMS.

Additionally, this messaging program is not for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical or safety emergency, call 911 immediately. Do not rely on Alliant Care Transport's text messaging for urgent needs or emergency dispatch, as our drivers and staff cannot receive emergency messages through this system.

Service Scope and Disclaimers

Alliant Care Transport LLC provides non-emergency medical transportation services. We are not a healthcare provider or an emergency ambulance service. Our staff are drivers and coordinators, not medical professionals. Any information provided via SMS is for logistical purposes only.

Transportation services are provided based on scheduling availability and operational capacity. We will do our best to meet your scheduled pickup and drop-off times, but unforeseen circumstances (traffic, weather, etc.) can cause delays or changes. We make no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free service. All services are subject to our operating policies and any applicable agreements with clients or healthcare facilities.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

If you need to cancel a scheduled ride, please inform us as soon as possible by calling our office. Cancellations or passenger no-shows may incur fees or penalties, depending on the terms agreed upon when your ride was arranged (for example, as outlined in a facility contract or client agreement). We understand plans can change; we will handle cancellations on a case-by-case basis in a fair manner. Repeated no-shows or very late cancellations might affect your ability to schedule future rides.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. If changes are made, we will post the revised Terms on our website with a new effective date. Your continued use of our services and SMS notifications after any update will signify your acceptance of the revised terms.
