Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Alliant Care Transport LLC ("Alliant Care Transport," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our website (alliant.care) and our services, including our SMS notification program Alliant Care Transport – Transactional Scheduling & Dispatch Notifications. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your information is handled safely.
By using our website or providing your information to schedule transportation (including opting in to SMS notifications), you agree to the practices described in this Policy. For terms governing the use of our services, please see our Terms & Conditions.
Information We Collect
We only collect information that is necessary to operate our transportation services and communicate with you. This includes:
- Contact Information: Your name, phone number, email address, and other basic contact details.
- Trip Details: Information related to your transportation requests, such as pickup and drop-off addresses, appointment dates/times, and any notes or instructions relevant to your ride (e.g. wheelchair needs or special assistance requirements).
- Communication Records: If you contact us or opt in to SMS updates, we may collect records of those communications. This includes the content of text messages for operational purposes, timestamps of messages, and your responses (such as STOP or HELP requests).
- Website Usage Data: When you visit our website, basic technical information is collected automatically. This may include your IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies or similar tracking data. We use this data to ensure the website functions properly and to analyze site traffic (we do not use this data for advertising purposes).
- Payment Information (if applicable): If you or your organization makes payments for rides directly (such as paying out-of-pocket), we may collect payment details. Payments might be processed through third-party payment processors for security. We do not store full credit card numbers or banking details on our own servers.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as social security numbers or detailed medical/health records through our website or SMS. Please avoid sending such sensitive data to us via text or online forms.
How We Use Your Information
Alliant Care Transport LLC uses the collected information strictly to provide and improve our services. Key uses of information include:
- Providing Transportation Services: We use your contact and trip details to schedule and dispatch your rides, coordinate driver assignments, navigate to pickup/drop-off locations, and fulfill the transportation you requested.
- SMS Notifications: We send you text message updates and reminders related to your rides (for example, confirming your ride time, notifying you that a driver is on the way, or alerting you to any changes). These messages are transactional and facilitate your service; they are not marketing messages. Message frequency varies based on your trips, and message and data rates may apply as explained in our Terms.
- Customer Service and Support: Information you provide allows us to respond when you contact us for help, to manage any inquiries or complaints, and to ensure you have a good experience with our service.
- Operational Communications: We might use your information to send necessary non-promotional communications, such as policy updates, service confirmations, or billing receipts.
- Improvement and Safety: We may analyze data (in aggregated or anonymized form whenever possible) to improve routing efficiency, optimize scheduling, enhance user experience on our website, and protect against fraud or misuse of our services.
- Legal and Compliance: If required, we will use your information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or respond to lawful requests from authorities.
We will not use your personal information for any purpose unrelated to providing you service unless we obtain your consent. We do not send general marketing emails or texts without your explicit opt-in to such programs (and currently, we do not run any marketing text programs).
How We Share Information
We value your privacy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We only share information in limited scenarios necessary to conduct our business or as required by law:
- With Service Providers: We share relevant information with trusted third-party service providers who help us run our operations. This includes, for example, our SMS messaging platform/provider, dispatching or routing software services, cloud data storage providers, and payment processors. These partners are bound by agreements to use your data solely for our purposes and to protect it.
- With Healthcare or Authorized Facilitators: If your transportation is arranged through a healthcare provider, clinic, insurance network, or another organization on your behalf, we may share scheduling and status information with them as needed to coordinate the service (for instance, confirming trip completion or reporting a delay to the clinic). We only share what is necessary in relation to that trip, and such parties are typically subject to privacy obligations.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or legal process, for example in response to a court order, subpoena, or other government demand. We may also share information if necessary to investigate or take action regarding potential fraud, security threats, or violations of our terms, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Alliant Care Transport, our employees, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: In the unlikely event that our company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred to the succeeding entity as part of the business transaction. If this happens, we will ensure the new owner continues to honor the privacy commitments made here, and we will notify you (for example, via a notice on our website) of any such change.
Importantly, we do not share your phone number or other personal details with third parties for their own marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law and applicable regulations. In practice, this means:
- Operational Data: Information related to transportation (trips, communications, etc.) is retained for a period necessary to complete the service and handle any follow-up issues. We may retain trip records for a certain time after completion in order to address inquiries, facilitate billing or reporting (especially if working with healthcare payers), and to comply with any contractual or legal record-keeping requirements.
- SMS and Contact Records: Text message logs and call/email records are retained to maintain a history of communications for reference and to improve our services. They are typically stored securely with timestamps. If you opt out of SMS, we may keep a record of your opt-out request (phone number and date) to ensure we honor it.
- Website Logs: Basic web server logs and analytics data are generally retained for security monitoring and traffic analysis. This data is usually kept in aggregate form with no personal identifiers after a short retention period.
- Payment Information: We do not store full payment account details beyond what is necessary for transaction records. Receipts or transaction confirmations are retained as part of our financial records as required by law, but sensitive payment data (like full credit card numbers) are not retained by us directly.
- Deletion: When personal information is no longer required for our operational or legal needs, we will delete it or anonymize it so that it can no longer be associated with you. For example, old trip records may be purged or stripped of personal details if they are only needed for statistical purposes.
Please note that certain data may need to be retained longer if required by applicable law (for instance, records of services provided for accounting, or information regarding any incidents).
Security Measures
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the personal information we hold from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure. These measures include secure data encryption, access controls to limit who on our team can view sensitive information, and regular monitoring of our systems for vulnerabilities.
However, please understand that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You share and receive information (such as through our SMS or website) at your own risk. If we ever experience a data breach that compromises your personal data, we will notify you as required by law.
Your Choices and Rights
We respect your control over your information. You have certain rights and options regarding the personal data we have about you:
- Opt-Out of Text Messages: If you have consented to receive SMS notifications, you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to our messages. (For more information on our texting service, you can also reply HELP or contact us directly.) After opting out, you will no longer receive routine SMS updates, though we may contact you by phone call if necessary for urgent matters regarding a scheduled ride.
- Access and Correction: You may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask that we correct or update any inaccuracies. For example, if your contact number or address changes, let us know and we will update our records.
- Deletion (Right to be Forgotten): You can request that we delete personal data we have collected from you. If you withdraw consent or no longer use our services, you may ask us to remove your information from our active systems. Note that we might retain certain information where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (as noted in our data retention section).
- California Privacy Rights: If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or other state laws. This can include the right to request a report of what personal information we have collected or disclosed, to request deletion of your personal information, or to opt out of any "sale" of personal data (note: we do not sell personal data). To exercise any applicable rights, please contact us using the information provided below. We will verify your identity and respond in accordance with applicable law.
- Cookies and Tracking: Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. If our website uses cookies, you can choose to disable or clear them, though some parts of our site may not function properly without cookies. (We do not use any third-party advertising cookies; any cookies in use are primarily for site functionality or basic analytics.)
- Declining to Provide Information: You have the right not to provide certain personal information. However, this may limit our ability to offer you some services. For instance, if you decline to give a phone number, we cannot send you SMS updates; or if you refuse to provide a name, scheduling a ride might not be possible.
To exercise any of these rights or preferences, please email us at [email protected]. We will do our best to accommodate your request, provided it is permissible by law.
Minors
Our services are intended for individuals arranging transportation for healthcare-related needs. When transportation involves a minor, we require consent and communication through a parent, guardian, or other authorized representative.
If you are under 18 years of age, a parent, guardian, or authorized adult (such as a healthcare provider or care coordinator) must request transportation services and provide any necessary personal information on your behalf. All communications, including SMS updates regarding a minor's transportation, will be directed to the authorized adult who arranged the service.
If you believe information was submitted without proper authorization, please contact us immediately at [email protected] so we can take appropriate action to address the situation.
Health Information and Privacy
Alliant Care Transport LLC is a transportation service provider, not a healthcare provider. We do not require you to submit any protected health information (PHI) through our website or via SMS. Please do not send sensitive medical details or personal health information to us over text messages or unsecured channels. Our SMS program is intended only for scheduling and dispatch notifications (e.g., ride timing and logistics).
If you voluntarily provide any health-related information (for example, mentioning a mobility aid or an appointment type), we will treat it as confidential and use it only to coordinate your transportation or provide reasonable accommodations. We aim to minimize the information we collect and do not request protected health information (PHI) through SMS or our website. Please avoid sending sensitive medical details via text message.
In some cases, we may receive limited information from a healthcare facility or other authorized party solely to arrange transportation. We handle such information with appropriate safeguards and in accordance with applicable privacy and security requirements.
Remember that our text messaging is not a secure medium for medical or emergency communication. In case of a medical emergency or any urgent health matter, contact emergency services (dial 911) rather than texting us.

Alliant Care Transport LLC is based in the United States, and our website and services are intended for U.S. users. If you are accessing our services from outside the United States, be aware that any information you provide will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where our servers and operations are located. By using our services or website from outside the U.S. and providing your information, you consent to this transfer and processing in the U.S. under this Privacy Policy.
Regardless of location, personal data collected by Alliant Care Transport will be handled as described here. If local laws grant you additional rights or protections, we will comply with those as applicable.

We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of the policy. Any changes will become effective when posted to alliant.care/privacy.
If the changes are significant, we may also provide a more prominent notice or seek your consent as required by law. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
